I can't believe I'm entering my third year of graduate school with my prospectus in the near future! Time sure flies, and with all I have planned for the rest of the year, I know fall will be gone before I know it.
Over the summer, my paper on collaborative teleoperation was accepted to appear in the proceedings of IEEE's 2022 International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS). Although I was planning to travel to Kyoto, Japan to present my work in-person, travel restrictions have increased in Japan due to the pandemic, and I have decided to attend the conference and present remotely. I look forward to hearing some great talks and presenting remotely on Tuesday, November 25th.
Instead of attending IROS in-person, my advisor proposed I attend the International Symposium on Distributed Autonomous Robotic Systems (DARS) in Montbéliard, France this November. There, I will present a poster featuring my most recent work on multi-robot coverage and resource allocation, which I've been working on over the summer. I've also submitted a paper on this work to the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA). I'm truly looking forward to DARS -- not only to present my work, but also to meet other scholars in the multi-agent systems field!
